For propane and heating-oil dealers · MA · NH · RI
Fuel Footprint finds homes in the counties you serve whose municipal assessor records show heating oil or propane. Coming soon: postcard campaigns you approve, with every inquiry traced back to the card that produced it.
Analyzed so far: 107 municipalities in 12 counties, as of September 30, 2026. How we count
Homes the town assessor records as heated by propane, plus clearly labeled likely-propane prospects where other public evidence supports it.
Homes the town assessor records as heated by oil, in the municipalities you deliver to, for new-customer or conversion offers.
How it works
Pick the counties you serve. Before you commit, we show which municipalities we cover there and how many homes their assessors record as oil- or propane-heated. Territory access is a 12-month county license, billed monthly.
We'll prepare a postcard proof for your review and mail it to homes in your licensed territory. Nothing will be printed or mailed until you approve it. Printing and postage will be quoted separately from the territory license.
Each postcard will carry its own QR code, so every inquiry is tied to the campaign that produced it. You'll receive the inquiries people send in response, with that attribution, and be able to export them as a CSV file. Exports cover campaign responses only — never the licensed property records behind your territory.
Our data
Each town's assessor records the heating fuel for a property. We start there. This is not a modeled consumer list.
Where an assessor records propane, we say so. Where we infer a likely propane home from other public evidence, it is marked as an inference.
An assessor's entry reflects the last inspection. It does not prove which fuel a home uses today, or who supplies it.
We don't promise response rates or sales. Campaign reports (coming soon) will show how many postcards were mailed and the inquiries each campaign produced.
Coverage
We build coverage town by town. Every municipality whose assessor records we have analyzed is listed below; if a town isn't listed, we can't serve it yet. Most counties are only partly analyzed, and we show you exactly which municipalities are included before you commit. We don't currently cover anywhere outside Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
As of September 30, 2026 · 107 municipalities with analyzed assessor fuel data, in 12 counties
We are building coverage for 156 municipalities. Assessor records are loaded for 109 of them, and 107 have been analyzed for heating fuel (Boxford and Reading are loaded but not yet analyzed). The other 47 have no assessor data loaded yet.
A municipality is counted only once its assessor records have been analyzed. That does not mean every property in it has a recorded heating fuel. “32 of 34” for Essex County means 32 of that county's 34 municipalities.
